We, as an industry, are all driven by our customers needs.  The needs can be determined by many variables.  In today’s world, many of us think that price is always the main focus of interest in opening your customer’s eyes to your product.  While price has always been a driving factor in any consumer’s decision, it is not always the main attraction.

 

As a Realtor, you are often asked for recommendations on service providers for your clients.  They may ask for vendors to assist with remodeling, business services and more.  You want to make sure the companies you have on your list you trust, recommend and are upstanding.  Researching the reputation of the vendor or provider is beneficial as it will reflect on you.  Taking the time to assist the client with preparing the list of contractors or service providers to interview is a great way to help provide an extra level of service.  This will make you unique in your profession.

 

In a conversation with a homebuyer who just recently bought a home from a medium sized builder inCharlotte,NC, the buyer referenced her deciding factor on her purchase.  While price was important, the level of customer service and care she received prior to the purchase is what made her ultimately close the deal.  To further her satisfaction, the service level went above and beyond her expectations during the building of her home and post closing. Her prompt follow-up conversation’s and continued up-dates kept her at ease with the entire process and encourages her to refer business to this builder.
